BOOKING CHECKLIST

Decide which film you would like your students to see and contact the Navy Pier IMAX Theatre Group Sales Department at 312-595-5987 or click here to book online (please note that reservations are not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation from the Group Sales Department). Films at the Navy Pier IMAX Theatre range from Traditional Feature Films to Hollywood Feature Films.

To activate a film from our Film Library requires a group of at least 75 -or- contact the Navy Pier IMAX Theatre for existing show times -or- to be paired with another group.

Prices for movies are as follow (for groups of 20 or more)
-Traditional Feature IMAX Film (films lasting approximately 45 minutes to one hour)
Students K-8: $7 Students High School: $7 Adults: $7

-Hollywood DMR (films lasting approximately 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes)
Students K-8: $10 Students High School: $10 Adults: $10
There are no complimentary passes given for Hollywood DMR Films

A second Traditional Feature film may be added at a discounted rate of $3 per person. No other discounts or coupons, including the IMAX Educator Pass, are accepted with a group reservation.

-Please check your school’s calendar for conflicts including assemblies, standardized tests, half-days, ect.

-Have at least three possible dates available when you call to book, as some days and times may already be sold out or booked as another film.

-Have a close estimate of the number of students and adults that will be attending the film. Seats can sell quickly, and we would hate for anyone to be left out! *Please note that final numbers are due two weeks prior to show date.*

-Once you have received your invoice from the Navy Pier IMAX Theatre, begin distributing Field Trip Forms. Also, download, if available, a teacher resource guide for your film by clicking here.

-Contact your bus company to schedule transportation to and from Navy Pier

-Make sure that all field trip forms and money are turned in at least two weeks prior to your reservation date. *Please note that full payment is due on all reservations at least two weeks in advance, and that once payment has been received tickets become non-refundable and non-exchangable.*

-To receive discounted concessions and to ensure that your order is ready upon arrival, pre-purchase concessions by contacting the Navy Pier IMAX Group Sales Department. Please have a basic count so that we may ensure we have enough for your group. All pre-purchased concession packages include a voucher for a future child’s admission (call for more information). *Please note that a final count on the number of concession packages needed and full payment must be in at least 72-hours in advance of show-date.*
