Frank Theatres to Open 10 IMAX® Theatres

Frank Theatres Raises Entertainment Experience for Customers to New Level

IMAX is pleased to be able to extend the IMAX Experience® to movie patrons across the globe. Each new theatre means an opportunity for you to see the most highly-anticipated films in an unparalleled viewing experience. Last week, IMAX and FrankTheatres together announced an agreement to open 10 IMAX theatres. Four theatres are expected to open this November in York, Pa.; Southern Pines, N.C.; Delray Beach, Fla.; and Northfield, N.J. In May 2013, two additional theatres are slated to open in Ranson, W. Va. and Kingsport, Tenn. The additional theatre locations will be determined at a later time.

IMAX is anxious to take moviegoers at FrankTheatres locations from their seat in the theatre to the core of the action. We’re eager to hear about the first-time experiences once the new theatres open.
