TIFF 2013: Wizard of Oz IMAX Premiere Closes Out TIFF
As the curtains close on the 38th annual Toronto International Film Festival, we are excited to highlight some of our favorite moments of this year’s festival.
We kicked off our presence at TIFF with the Mogul’s Panel featuring IMAX’s head honcho Rich Gelfond and entertainment guru Greg Foster to discuss IMAX’s position on the globalization of the cinema industry. IMAX leaders spoke candidly about the challenges that are faced when doing business globally and the rapid growth of IMAX in international markets.
Rich shared with audiences one of the key ways to conduct business internationally, "Make it a win-win situation. Don't be a colonialist going in, teaching people how to do things your way."
