IMAX® Signs Two-Theater Deal in South Africa

The agreement for additional screens in Pretoria and Johannesburg follows Ster-Kinekor launching an anchor site in Durban. TORONTO – IMAX is expanding its presence in South Africa after inking a two-theater deal with Ster-Kinekor Theaters. The division of Primedia Group will add a theater to an upcoming multiplex in Pretoria East, and a second to another new multiplex in Johannesburg, to bring its stable of IMAX theaters to three.
