LIONSGATE’S THE HUNGER GAMES BREAKS OPENING WEEKEND RECORDS IN IMAX® THEATRES

MAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX; TSX: IMX) and Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF) today announced that the limited release of The Hunger Games: The IMAX Experience grossed $10.6 million in IMAX® theatres worldwide during its three-day opening weekend beginning March 23. Domestically, the film grossed $152.5 million, of which $10.2 million was generated in 268 IMAX theatres for a per-screen average of $38,000. The results mark an IMAX domestic box office opening weekend record for a digital-only release and for a non-sequel 2D release. Titanic in 3D to Set Sail for a Limited Engagement in Select IMAX® Theatres on April 4

Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox announced today that James Cameron's Oscar®-winningfilm, Titanic will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® 3D format and released for a limited engagement in 149 select IMAX® theatres worldwide. Titanic will open in 79 domestic IMAX theatres simultaneous with the film's wide release on April 4, 2012 and a total of 70 international IMAX theatres, 63 of which will open on April 4. Additional international playdates will be added as pending bookings are confirmed. Prometheus to be Released in IMAX® 3D on June 8

IMAX Corporation and Twentieth Century Fox today announced that Prometheus, the summer's scariest action event picture and director Ridley Scott's return to the genre he helped define, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® 3D format and released in IMAX® digital and film theatres domestically and in a select number of IMAX theatres internationally, starting June 8, 2012. Tim Burton's Frankenweenie to be Released in IMAX® 3D on October 5
