TRON: Legacy Coming To France For Exclusive 4-Day Run In IMAX

More Than 43 Minutes of Footage Specifically Designed to Maximize the IMAX Canvas
TRON: Legacy, a 3D high-tech adventure about a father and son who embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually stunning cyber universe, will open in France for an exclusive four-day run in the country’s five commercial IMAX® theatres prior to the nationwide release on February 9, 2011.
Seven sequences expand on the IMAX screen, thereby allowing audiences to become even more immersed in the massive scope and scale of TRON: Legacy, only in IMAX® 3D. “Director Joseph Kosinski has masterfully incorporated IMAX technology into the production of this movie to create a truly unique and immersive cinematic experience that will transport audiences right into the world of TRON,” said Greg Foster, Chairman and President, IMAX Filmed Entertainment. “With a four-day exclusive IMAX run prior to the nationwide release, Disney has done an outstanding job of ensuring French fans can celebrate the arrival of TRON: Legacy in the way it was meant to be experienced.”
