Asteroid Adventure is the first IMAX Simulator Ride shot and projected in the IMAX HD DOME format. At 48 fps, IMAX HD offers the audience images of unparalleled brilliance, sharpness and clarity. The adventure begins as the audience climbs aboard the latest generation of space vehicles. Instead of a leisurely excursion to an asteroid colony, the journey takes an unexpected twist as the audiences respond to an urgent plea for assistance. The generator providing life support to the colony is on the brink of destruction. Mission: locate and destroy the mysterious electrical virus that is wreaking havoc on the asteroid colony and restore the power generation capabilities to the asteroid. Time is running out.
