the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. Each year they
attract a pilgrimage of climbers who set out to
test their strength and endurance on the peaks’
craggy slopes. Featuring dramatic footage shot
under extreme filmmaking conditions, The Alps:
Giants of Nature follows the footsteps of some
of the most famous climbing pioneers and explore
the beauty and uniqueness of this landscape. |

| CYBERWORLD 3D. A feast
for the senses, Cyberworld is the first-ever fully
animated 3D film. Visit the eight exhibits in
the Galleria Animatica with tour guide Phig, the
feisty female host. There is a trio of wacky computer
bugs who live by consuming the complex computer
code that flows through the structure of the Galleria.
The bugs threaten the integrity of Phig and all
Galleria exhibits. You'll see many familiar characters
along the way, including Homer & Bart Simpson
and characters from the film "Antz".
The film presents numerous creative and technical
challenges for students. |

| DESTINY IN SPACE
gives the viewers an exciting glimpse into the
future of space exploration. Featuring never-before-seen
giant-screen images of the space shuttle in orbit
around the Earth and thrilling fly-overs of Mars
and Venus, the film focuses on the dramatic partnership
of humans and robots working in space. An IMAX
camera deployed via satellite provides rare views
of the shuttle, in its entirety, orbiting 200
miles above Earth. Audiences are with the astronauts
as they work in Spacelab and outside the shuttle
in the hazardous vacuum of space, performing a
spectacularly successful servicing mission of
the Hubble Space Telescope. |

Mummies:
Secrets of the Pharaohs follows researchers
and explorers as they piece together the archeological
and genetic clues of Egyptian mummies. These
relics of the past create a window into the
fascinating and mysterious world of the pharaohs.
In addition to increasing our understanding
of the culture, religion, medicine, and daily
life thousands of years ago, scientists today
are reconstructing mummy DNA and deciphering
ancient texts to gain insight into modern human
genetics and advance medical treatments. To
unwrap the secrets of the pharaohs is to perhaps
glimpse the future of our own civilization. |

On
Christmas day of 2003, Pasquale Scaturro and
a team of explorers set out on an epic quest
to become the first to complete a full descent
of the world's greatest river, the Blue Nile
and the Nile, from source to sea. Four months
later, on April 28 at 7:01am, Pasquale and his
expedition partner Gordon Brown, reached the
mouth of the Nile at the Mediterranean Sea,
becoming the first in history to complete this
3,250-mile journey.
Their amazing journey is the basis for the
film for IMAX® theaters, Mystery of the
