It is the mightiest river in the world, the lifeblood for whole civilizations and home to more than 5,000 different species of fish and the more than 60,000 different species of plants that live on its banks. It is the Amazon, and it is now captured in a 40-minute, Academy AwardŽ-nominated large-format film, titled AMAZON, that will take audiences on a journey of discovery of the river's wonders, inhabitants and remarkable healing powers.

INTO THE DEEP 3D

INTO THE DEEP, in IMAX 3D, takes viewers deep sea diving, with only 3D glasses for a diver's mask. Visit the kelp forest growing in the shallow waters of southern California's Channel Islands. LEWIS & CLARK: GREAT JOURNEY WEST

The IMAX space legacy continues with Magnificent Desolation 3D: Walking on the Moon. This film will take you to the surface of the Moon to walk alongside the extraordinary Apollo astronauts who have stepped upon its surface. With never before seen photographs, CGI renditions of the lunar landscape and previously unreleased NASA footage, audiences will be immersed in the life-changing experiences of these astronauts by showcasing what they saw, heard, felt, thought and did while on the lunar surface. The film's content is based on "The Lunar Surface Journals," a massive archival database compiled over the last decade by Dr. Eric Jones, which chronicles the moon walks as recounted by the astronauts.
