PITTSBURGH'S BIG PICTURE

Release Date: January 12, 2001. Runtime: 8 min.
"A destination film produced for the Carnegie Science Center which seeks to showcase the area's topography, culture and character. The movie takes audiences on a visual flight through southwestern Pennsylvania's natural resources, portrays the people that are Pittsburgh and captures the city's transformation into the age of high technology. It includes favorites like time-lapse photography, and point-of-view and aerial shots. Viewers will find themselves in the driver's seat of a Formula-1 race boat at the Regatta, soaring high above the tree-dense hilltops of the Laurel Highlands and perched 251 feet up in the air aboard Kennywood's Pitfall thrill ride. Audiences come face to face with the people that live, work and play in the greater Pittsburgh area.
