FRIDAY FEATURE: IMAX, Baseball Hall of Fame Team Up for Brand-New Traveling Fan Experience
Jun 10, 2016

Take me out to the ballgame … or immerse yourself in baseball history with the historic Baseball Hall of Fame Tour “We Are Baseball” and IMAX as they team up to present a brand-new baseball fan experience.

Kicking off July 3 in Davenport, Iowa, the “We Are Baseball” traveling exhibit is a multi-year journey to hundreds of cities across North America, featuring cutting-edge technology—including an original IMAX® movie—and digital media.

It truly is a must-see event for any baseball fan!

Imagine being able to see the original bat used by Bobby Thomson when he hit the walk-off home run in the 1951 regular season playoff game or the glove worn by Willie Mays when he made the famous catch in Game One of the 1954 World Series.

At “We Are Baseball,” fans get a great mix of old and new because a big part of the experience is a mobile IMAX® theatre that will feature an original IMAX film produced by Thomas Tull and Tom Werner, with never-before-seen new content as well as historical footage.

We also invite you to get interactive with history selfies picturing yourself in some of baseball’s most iconic moments, as well as personal plaques, touch-screen games, a virtual reality experience powered by Jaunt VR and so much more!
