Under the Sea 3D

"Under the Sea 3D", a new IMAX® 3D adventure, transports moviegoers to some of the most exotic and isolated undersea locations on Earth, including Southern Australia, New Guinea and others in the Indo-Pacific region, allowing them to experience face-to-face encounters with some of the most mysterious and stunning creatures of the sea. It offers a uniquely inspirational and entertaining way to explore the beauty and natural wonder of the oceans, as well as the impact of global climate change. In IMAX 3D, the images will leap off the screen and float around the theatre, putting the audience in the movie.

Mysteries Of Egypt

Mysteries of Egypt transports audiences to a distant time and place where the Nile River Valley cuts an emerald swath through the desert sands. With its dedicated team of scientists, Mysteries of Egypt explores the magnificent architectural feats, awe-inspiring legends, and amazing history of the ancient Egyptian civilization. Float down the lush Nile and soar over the Valley of the Kings, as stars Omar Sharif and Kate Maberly ("The Secret Garden") explore the latest discoveries and uncover many of the mysteries that surround these ancient peoples.

Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D

Audiences will be transported to the surface of the moon to walk alongside the 12 extraordinary astronauts who have been there, experiencing what they saw, heard, felt, thought and did. Presented and narrated by Tom Hanks, 'Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D' features never-before-seen photographs, previously unreleased NASA footage, CGI imaging and live-action renditions of the lunar landscape. It is sponsored by Lockheed Martin Corporation and filmed with the cooperation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Lewis and Clark: Great Journey West

It was the dawn of a nation - a time before the American West became known as the frontier, and little was known about what lay within. Two captains, courageous in spirit and unyielding in their dedication to their mission, led 31 people, including one woman and her infant son, to the Pacific Ocean and back. Audiences will experience the danger and beauty of the unknown West as it unfolded before the eyes of Lewis and Clark.

Hubble 3D

Through the power of IMAX® 3D, Hubble 3D will enable movie-goers to journey through distant galaxies to explore the grandeur and mysteries of our celestial surroundings, and accompany space-walking astronauts as they attempt the most difficult and important tasks in NASA’s history. The film will offer an inspiring and unique look into the Hubble Space Telescope’s legacy and highlight its profound impact on the way we view the universe and ourselves. Narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, Hubble 3D reunites the Space Station 3D filmmaking team, led by Producer/Director Toni Myers. James Neihouse, Director of Photography, also doubles as the Astronaut crew trainer. Judy Carroll is Associate Producer, and Graeme Ferguson, Co-founder of IMAX and pioneer Producer of many IMAX space films, is Executive Producer. Hubble 3D is an IMAX and Warner Bros. Pictures production, in cooperation with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Galapagos 3D

Presented by the Smithsonian Institution and Imax Ltd., and using IMAX 3D technology, Galapagos vividly documents an eight-week expedition to the islands and surrounding waters.

Part adventure, part scientific expedition, part personal quest, and part fantastic voyage, this unprecedented non-fiction film takes audiences on a journey with marine biologist Dr. Carole Baldwin, from the Smithsonian Institutions's Museum of Natural History, on her first trips to the famed Gal�pagos Islands.

An amazingly immersive cinematic experience, Galapagos delves deep into the largely unknown waters surrounding the volcanic archipelago to explore the natural wonders of a realm that is truly a living natural science laboratory.

Using Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution's research vessel, the SEWARD JOHNSON as the mother ship-and their high-tech submersible JOHNSON-SEA-LINK-the highly distinguished research and filmmaking team deployed technology light years ahead of the crude instruments Charles Darwin had at his disposal during his famous 1835 visit to the region.         

Forces of Nature

It is one thing to contemplate the immense power of nature, another to experience these forces first-hand. Forces of Nature will showcase the awesome spectacle of earthquakes, volcanoes, and severe storms as we follow scientists on their groundbreaking quests to understand how these natural disasters are triggered. Audiences will learn what is being done to predict and prepare for these events -- and minimize their deadly effects -- as they come face-to-face with Earth's most destructive forces.

Dinosaurs 3D: Giants of Patagonia

Dinosaurs are amongst the most fascinating animals to have ever walked the Earth. We are captivated by their enormous size and intrigued by the fact that they disappeared millions of year ago. Dinosaurs 3D will take audiences on an unprecedented and unique 3D journey into the world of the largest known dinosaurs and, in the process, explore some of the great paleontological discoveries of modern time. Done in close collaboration with the foremost scientists of the domain, the movie will show never-before-seen computer generated footage of the Giganotosaurus and the Argentinosaurus to name a few.

Bugs! in 3D

In this ground breaking film, extraordinary, Large Format 3D images bring us face-to-face with this amazing universe, where raindrops fall like hand grenades, a leaf weighs more than a car, and a blade of grass soars high into the clouds. Insects are colorful and diverse. They range from the beautiful to the bizarre. Bugs! 3D invites us to explore a truly hidden world. Using cutting-edge macroscopic technology and a lively soundtrack, we introduce a cast of insect characters who will fascinate the entire family.
