IMAX Theatre congratulates Joan Juarez, 2007 Teacher of
the Year
June 18th, 2007
To EVERYONE at Esquire’s IMAX Theatre,
I just wanted to write this letter to thank
you for your part in giving my family and me the experience
of Teacher of the Year. When I say family, that includes
my students, their families, and the many people that I
work with. All of this has been such an exciting experience
for all of us. While they are proud of me, I know (or hope)
that they take this as a reflection of all the hard work
they do as well.
The night that you provided us was so much
fun – the award ceremony, the viewing of Dinosaurs
3D, seeing us on television – it was truly a once
in a lifetime experience. Thank you so much for the recognition
that I received from you and your partnership with Channel
10 News and for the trip to your theatre that you offered
my class.
In addition, I would like to commend you
for the recognition that you give ALL educators and for
your contribution to education. Whenever educators, and
students, are publicized every single day through your partnership
with Channel 10 News, it just shows how important education
really is to the Esquire IMAX Theatre. Thank you so much
for everything you do for education. I feel that, and hopefully,
whenever a viewer watches a segment or commercial, they
are reminded of how important it is to work for our children
and to encourage them to succeed.
