FREE on-street parking begins at 4:30 p.m. weekdays and
is in affect all day Saturdays and Sundays.
Where: Between I and L streets and Front and 29th
streets in metered on-street parking spaces only.
Parking rules: All other parking rules come into
play, including time-limit restrictions, street sweeping
days and colored curbs.
Garage parking: This year parking will be free
during limited times at the East End Garage, 17th Street
between L Street and Capitol Avenue. Parking will be free
for the first 90 minutes in the garage and $1 per hour after
that time limit -- up to a maximum of $5. The free parking
in the East End Garage is only available during the period
the City of Sacramento manages the parking spaces -- week
nights from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and all day on weekends
