Columbia Pictures' The Amazing Spider-Man™ Boasts Strong Box Office Results In IMAX® 3D Theatres

IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX; TSX:IMX) and Columbia Pictures today announced that The Amazing Spider-Man™ generated approximately $24 million in 444 IMAX® theatres worldwide since the film's global release on June 27. Domestically, the film grossed approximately $14.3 million in 307 IMAX theatres since its debut on July 3. Internationally, the film has grossed approximately $10 million in 137 IMAX theatres since its launch on June 27, when 76 IMAX theatres began showing the film.
