Thought safely entombed in a tomb deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess (Sofia Boutella of _Kingsman: The Secret Service_ and _Star Trek Beyond_) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension. From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, _The Mummy_ brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters. Cruise is joined by a cast including Annabelle Wallis (upcoming _King Arthur_, television’s _Peaky Blinders_), Jake Johnson (_Jurassic World_), Courtney B. Vance (TV’s _American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson_) and Oscar® winner Russell Crowe (_Gladiator_). The IMAX release of _The Mummy_ will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of An IMAX 3D Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
