FRIDAY FEATURE: 8 Reasons to Get Excited About Seeing the Entire Harry Potter Franchise in IMAX
===============================================================================================

Attention IMAX—and Harry Potter—fans!

In case you missed it, we have exciting news: for the first time EVER, all eight _Harry Potter_ films will screen in IMAX as part of an exclusive one-week engagement beginning October 13 in domestic IMAX® theatres.

\*Breathe\*

So, in celebration of this awesome announcement, we’ll be spotlighting eight reasons why you should be super excited. _Lumos!_

**1-2. The Originals**: I’m kind of cheating here, but the fact that BOTH _Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone_ and _Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets_ will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® format and released in IMAX theatres for the first time EVER is kind of a big deal and really deserves two slots—one for each film.

**3.** **The Subsequent Six:** While this will be the first opportunity to experience the first two _Harry Potter_ installments in IMAX, we’re just as excited to be able to re-visit the six other films in the franchise in IMAX. Which is your favorite?

**4.** **Fan Event:** Before you check out _Harry Potter_, Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX are teaming up for an exciting global fan event on Oct. 13 in select IMAX theatres. At the event, fans can experience a never-before-seen reel from the highly-anticipated new film, _Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them_, as well as in-person appearances from talent from the film at two IMAX locations in London and L.A. and much more.

**5.** **Eddie & Company:** Prior to each _Harry Potter_ screening, audiences will be treated to specially recorded greetings from Eddie Redmayne and other _Fantastic Beasts_ talent.

**6.** **Reel ‘Em In:** For those who aren’t able to make the _Fantastic Beasts_ fan event on October 13, audiences will still get the opportunity to experience the exclusive reel from the film during the weeklong _Harry Potter_ engagement.

**7.** **Potter Your Way:** Tickets for the engagement will be available through four separate admission packages: Single Ticket; Day Access (admittance to three or more shows in a single day); Four-Show Access (admittance to four shows any time, any day); and Festival Access (unlimited admittance throughout the event). Please check directly with your local IMAX for Day Access, Four-Show Access, and Festival Access tickets. Select locations only. Packages offered and pricing may vary by theatre.

**8.** **Worked Up for Wizards:** Let’s be honest. The opportunity to return to J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World—culminating in the November 18th IMAX release of _Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them_—is an opportunity we’re all about. And what better way is there to prepare for _Fantastic Beasts_ than by experiencing for the first time all eight Harry Potter films in IMAX?

Mischief managed.
