Happy Friday, IMAX fans! And welcome back to FRIDAY FEATURE, where for this week’s post we highlight the first live screening of a sporting event EVER in an IMAX® theatre domestically!

**Full disclosure:** I’m not the biggest sports fan out there. In fact, I had to Google who the San Antonio Spurs were. And who knew the Warriors were so good?! (A lot of people, apparently.) That said, even I think this event was super legit!

Called “Dub Nation to the IMAX®,” the screening — held in partnership by American Express, AMC and IMAX — featured last night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs, with special appearances by a few Warriors legends.

Sweetening the deal, American Express Card Members, who attended the sold-out screening at the Bay Area AMC IMAX NewPark 12, received exclusive Warriors merchandise, as well as complimentary food and beverages. (American Express is the official card of the Golden State Warriors, btb.)

Dub Nation fans jumped at the opportunity to see the Warriors live in IMAX!

In case you missed it, check out future events for Bay Area Card Members [here(opens in new window)](http://bit.ly/1UJdfDq).

And be sure to check back with FRIDAY FEATURE for more awesome news from IMAX!
