Marvel's 'Avengers: Infinity War' to be Shot Entirely With IMAX/Arri 2D Camera

The Russo brothers will be the first to capture a Hollywood feature using only IMAX digital cameras.

Marvel's _Avengers: Infinity War_ _–_ _Parts 1_ and _2_ will take the plunge and use the new Imax/Arri 2D digital camera to capture the entire two-part installment of the global franchise.

The move, by directors **Joe Russo** and **Anthony Russo**, marks the first time a Hollywood feature film will be shot only using Imax cameras and its exclusive aspect ratio. The Russo brothers (_Captain America: The Winter Soldier_) will capture the two-part installment on the Alexa 65, and Imax will then digitally process Marvel's _Avengers: Infinity War – Parts 1_ and _2_ for its giant screens.
