Why We Win When Movies Go IMAX First
====================================

It’s no secret that I am a fan of the IMAX format. When I do my periodic “go see a big movie on opening day just to watch the big trailers on a big screen,” I intentionally choose an IMAX screen for the occasion.

And part of the reason I checked out Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation on Friday morning was to sample two very specific trailers. Yes, it was great seeing the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer in IMAX (more on that later this week), and it was sobering to see that the Spectre trailer still left me a little cold (my wife finally saw it and sadly agrees), but the trailers I was most interested in were the IMAX-specific trailers for Everest and The Walk. Both are terrific teases.
