_**European Commission Rejects All Counts of Euromax Lawsuit**_

IMAX Corporation (Nasdaq: IMAX; TSX: IMX) today announced that the complaint brought against IMAX by Euromax, an association of European theatres, has been dismissed by the European Commission (EC). The complaint was filed with the EC in 2000 alleging violations of European competition rules. In rejecting each count of the complaint, the EC agreed with IMAX's contention that the claims asserted by Euromax were without merit.
