Attention IMAX—and Harry Potter—fans!
In case you missed it, we have exciting news: for the first time
EVER, all eight
Harry Potterfilms will screen in IMAX as part of an
exclusive one-week engagement beginning October 13 in domestic
IMAX® theatres.

So, in celebration of this awesome announcement, we’ll be
spotlighting eight reasons why you should be super excited.

1-2. The Originals: I’m kind of
cheating here, but the fact that BOTH
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stoneand
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secretswill be digitally
re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® format and released in IMAX
theatres for the first time EVER is kind of a big deal and really
deserves two slots—one for each film.

The Subsequent Six:While this will be the first
opportunity to experience the first two
Harry Potterinstallments in IMAX, we’re just as excited to
be able to re-visit the six other films in the franchise in IMAX.

Fan Event:Before you check out
Harry Potter, Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX are teaming
up for an exciting global fan event on Oct. 13 in select IMAX
theatres. At the event, fans can experience a never-before-seen
reel from the highly-anticipated new film,
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as
in-person appearances from talent from the film at two IMAX
locations in London and L.A. and much more.
5.
Eddie & Company:Prior to each
Harry Potterscreening, audiences will be treated to
specially recorded greetings from Eddie Redmayne and other
Fantastic Beaststalent.

Reel ‘Em In:For those who aren’t able to make the
Fantastic Beastsfan event on October 13, audiences will
still get the opportunity to experience the exclusive reel from the
film during the weeklong
Harry Potterengagement.
7.
Potter Your Way:Tickets for the engagement will be
available through four separate admission packages: Single Ticket;
Day Access (admittance to three or more shows in a single day);
Four-Show Access (admittance to four shows any time, any day); and
Festival Access (unlimited admittance throughout the event). Please
check directly with your local IMAX for Day Access, Four-Show
Access, and Festival Access tickets. Select locations only.

Worked Up for Wizards:Let’s be honest. The
