Imagine Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairytale retold in the Old West: a mysterious princess, a can of peas, a cowboy, and a bed -- dozens of mattresses high -- towering over the desert. Will this cowboy get his gal or be stuck with a stuffy princess? Princess & The Pea is the first-ever student large format film. Produced at USC, the production was made possible with the generous assistance of IMAX Corporation, Kodak, CFI, DKP 70MM, Imagica, and many others. Made by both students and professionals, the film boldly explores narrative filmmaking in large format.
