"Cloud Atlas," the sprawling science fiction epic from the makers of "The Matrix" trilogy, will unfold on IMAX screens, Warner Bros. said Monday. The film, which features Tom Hanks in a hideous '70s-era comb over and beige turtleneck sweater, as well as Hugo Weaving in drag, tells several interwoven stories of love, hope and rebellion across many eras. It co-stars Halle Berry and Hugh Grant and was directed by the Wachowskis ("The Matrix") and Tom Tykwer ("Run Lola Run").
"Cloud Atlas" will be digitally re-mastered for IMAX screens and released in the format on select North American screens on Oct. 26, 2012.

TheWrap's Steve Pond acknowledged that the film would have its detractors, but implied it was worth the price of admission. Read the entire article on TheWrap's website.
