We got the chance to sit down with the notorious funny man, Paul Rudd, himself! Although we’re used to seeing his more comical side, he takes on a different role as a father who’s down on his luck, when he gets an unexpected call to action. “I loved the idea that it was something that I had never done before, and that I’m a guy that people wouldn’t normally associate with this kind of thing.”
Although this is Paul Rudd’s first time working with Marvel, this eccentric pairing has him excited about the chance to play a superhero. “He’s a normal guy; he’s not born with any kind of super power. He is struggling and is conflicted and I think that there are elements to that that makes him relatable.”
Paul Rudd was also joined by other Ant-Man cast members, such as Evangeline Lily, who explains what it feels like to join the ranks of other actors and actresses who join Marvel’s array of superheroes.
Ant-Man director, Peyton Reed also chatted with us about how well the scale of the film appears in IMAX® 3D.
