IMAX DMR Generates Approximately $7.2 Million Global Box Office Weekend

For the weekend ended April 8, Titanic: An IMAX 3D Experience generated approximately $3.6 million in box office in 159 IMAX theatres worldwide (~$2.0 million domestic and ~$1.6 million international).  The domestic gross was from a limited run of 79 theatres and produced a per screen average of more than $25,000.  Titanic's IMAX footprint will expand this coming week.

Wrath of the Titans: An IMAX 3D Experience grossed approximately $3.3 million in worldwide box office this weekend.  Additional DMR titles playing throughout the IMAX network resulted in a total IMAX weekend box office of approximately $7.2 million.
