John Carter: An IMAX 3D Experience Opening Weekend Results

For the weekend ended March 11, Disney's John Carter: An IMAX 3D Experience generated approximately $9.5 million in global IMAX box office.  Domestically, John Carter grossed an estimated $30.6 million this weekend overall, of which ~$5.0 million was generated in IMAX theatres.  Internationally, the film grossed an estimated $70.6 million overall, of which ~$4.5 million was generated in IMAX theatres.  The film is still to open in IMAX theatres day-and-date in China and Japan.  Estimated figures include actuals through Saturday and estimates for Sunday.
