A young Chinese student named William Feng travels from Beijing to rural land to live with nomadic herdsmen. After being sent away he becomes stuck trying to find his place in the world between modern civilization and the rural land amongst the wolves that he has bonded with. The best-selling novel by Jiang Rong has been adapted into a motion picture by Jean-Jacques Annaud and will contain English subtitles.
